It typically uses gentle sounds, like bells or ambient noise, to signal the start and end of a session, minimizing harsh interruptions and fostering a calm state.

How does this Meditation Timer work?

  1. Adjust the desired meditation duration using the slider (only available when the timer is stopped).
  2. Optionally, select an ambient background sound (Nature, Rain, Waves, or Silence). Sounds require the sound toggle to be enabled.
  3. Click "Start" to begin the session. A gentle starting bell will sound (if enabled).
  4. The selected ambient sound will play (if chosen and enabled) while the timer counts down.
  5. You can "Pause" and "Resume" the session as needed.
  6. When the timer reaches zero, an ending bell will sound (if enabled), and ambient sound will stop.
  7. "Reset" stops the timer and returns it to the set duration.
  8. Use the volume icon button to toggle all sounds (bells and ambient) on or off.
